High Tea and Cakes

Good for brunch, lunch or as the traditional English Afternoon Tea at 4pm any day of the week, High Tea is an elegant treat, combining little tea sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, and a selection of cakes and other sweets, plus of course a pot of tea (Teas menu here). The Full English High Tea is all hand-made and decorated with proper ingredients in the old-fashioned way, more substantial than some fancy High Teas, and made with proper ingredients from scratch. We care about traditional charm and delicious eating more than elaborate appearances. We include seasonal elements and extras, which can be found on our chalk board (or ask a staff member), and we offer a varying range of cakes and sweets to keep things fresh and interesting, although certain favourites are always available.

A High Tea is a great focus for your gathering or party- come and get comfortable on our sofas, and have your knitting/ charity/ birthday event with cucumber sandwiches, chocolate cake and iced butter cookies! We can also make you an old-fashioned and delicious celebration cake (page coming soon- meanwhile get in touch if you are interested).
